Jakarta, RakyatNTT.ID – The Bitcoin (BTC) price surged 2.45% to $114,577 (around Rp1.9 billion) on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, according to CoinMarketCap.

This rally is largely fueled by strong institutional demand. Strategy Inc. (formerly MicroStrategy) now holds more than 639,000 BTC valued at roughly $70 billion, with plans to expand its holdings further.

At the same time, Bitcoin ETFs recorded $1.2 billion in inflows in just a single day earlier this month, tightening the available BTC supply in the market.

Macro and Regulatory Boost

From a macroeconomic perspective, the Federal Reserve’s 25 basis-point rate cut on September 17 weakened the US dollar, boosting Bitcoin’s appeal as a hedge asset.

US regulations also added momentum, with the SEC easing rules for altcoin ETF approvals, opening doors for more institutional funds to flow into the crypto market.

Reduced Selling Pressure

Meanwhile, selling pressure continues to ease as long-term Bitcoin holders rarely move their assets to exchanges. BTC inflows to exchanges have dropped to 30,000 BTC, down from 45,000 BTC in May, further limiting supply.

With institutional demand climbing, macroeconomic tailwinds, and supportive regulation, Bitcoin’s outlook remains strong as it pushes toward new milestones in 2025. (*/rnc)
